I read a lot of writing online and some blogs I've been following for years. At this point I'd like to think I could recognize their voice and style if I came aross one of their quotes.

So... given a blog post title and an excerpt... can I guess the author?

This month's conversations about writing and yesterday's Homebrew Website Club meeting where we talked about easter eggs in personal websites got me thinking about turning that question into a game.

And today... powRSS Who? is live!

It's like a combination of Shuffle and Random mode. You'll see a post title and the author's favicon along with an excerpt from the post's RSS summary. You'll get four blog names as possible choices. That's all! Good luck!

powRSS Who? is another way to make discovery of independent websites fun and engaging. I decided to leave the favicon even though it makes the game easier precisely to start identifying those authors when I see their posts on the home feed.
